 The performances of SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA and CHEENI KUM in the UK underline the fact that in the Overseas circuit, action films don't easily catch the fancy of the viewers.
While CHEENI KUM has just one lead pair, Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu, SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA has an entire line-up of heroes. Yet, the first week's collection of CHEENI KUM was almost thrice the collections of SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA.
In fact, while SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA was nowhere in the UK top 10 chart, CHEENI KUM made it to the 7th position in the first week and the 10th place in the second weekend of the same chart!"
