DIE HARD 4 DVDThe fourth installment of the 2 decade old franchise released on DVD in India. The DVD marks the 20th year of the franchise that inspired a new genre of action movies. DIE HARD propelled Bruce Willis's film career and established Alan Rickman as a popular portrayer of villains in American films. Bruce Willis's portrayal of John Mclaine as the witty and realistic action hero in comparison to his predecessors and contemporaries (Rambo, James Bond) made the franchise an instant success commercially and even with the critics.

DIE HARD 4 is releasing on DVD in a special 2 Disc pack titled 'Yippee-Ki-Yay' (a line voted as the top 100 best lines in Movie History). The DVD released by Excel Home Videos has scores of extra features including a never-before-seen version of the movie with 32 new cuts, more hardcore action and gritty language - including graphic sequences too intense for theaters. Plus hours of NEW special features, including a spectacular, in-depth 10-part look behind the scenes with the cast and crew that takes the DIE HARD fan to core of the franchise, plus an uncensored interview with Bruce Willis on the studio back lot and more.

Says MN Kapasi, MD, Excel home Videos, "The DVD features a commentary with Bruce Willis, director Len Wiseman & editor Nicolas de with extended & deleted scenes and the making of DIE HARD 4.0. All-in-all a great indulgence for the DIE HARD fan."

The storyline of DIE HARD 4 and John McClaine face a gang of cyber terrorists. The film was based on the 1997 article "A Farewell to Arms" written for Wired magazine by John Carlin.
