Javed Ali is a very happy singer these days. This shaagird of Ghulam Ali ji knew that his song 'Ek Din Teri Rahoon Mein' is a popular number and has the potential to be popular, but he had never thought that it will become a craze. "Everywhere I go I am asked to sing this song. Recently, when I was performing at a college in Kolkata, the young crowd kept asking for repeat performance of this song. I had to sing it six times before they allowed me to move ahead with other songs. Then I received call from a FM Radio in South Africa where this song is topping the charts since its release, for a live chat with listeners. I have got calls from other countries too. And to think that, originally I was asked to sing this song only as a demo song. I really do thank my stars and Pritam ji. It's like a milestone in my career," he gushes.
Currently his song "Nagaada Nagaada" from Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor starrer JAB WE MET is creating waves. He had taken Alaap for the song sung by Shaan for the film MARIGOLD.
His forthcoming films are JODHA AKBAR, AA NACH LE.
