Karan not to direct animated KUCHI KUCHI HOTA HAI

Karan Johar has big plans for the animated version of his blockbuster hit, KUCH KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI (1998). Though it is still early days, it is now certain that Karan will not be directing it and nor will it be his assistant Tarun Mansukhani in the director's chair, as is being speculated by a section of the media.
As per the latest, Karan has given the task of directing KUCHI KUCHI HOTA HAI (yes, that is indeed the title!) to an animation company, Prana.
Another interesting aspect of KUCHI KUCHI HOTA HAI is that the star cast of the film consists of animals!
