Mika's 'Ganpat' act in SHOOT OUT AT LOKHANDWALA must have certainly pleased Sanjay Gupta. So much so the film maker is now having the composer/singer as a standard music contributor in each of his newer films.
Sanjay Gupta repeated Mika to sing the track 'Nach Le Soniye' in DUS KAHANIYAAN and though the track couldn't turn out to be another 'Ganpat', it was liked by those who heard it as a part of the film's soundtrack. Now for his upcoming WOODSTOCK VILLA as well, Gupta has repeated him by incorporating his flagship number 'Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag' which has been a huge success over the years.
A folk track with a Western rock feel to it, 'Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag' has been picturised on the film's debutant lead Sikandar Kher who certainly seems to be having fun while lip synching to this track that boasts of a Club setting.
Incidentally this is the first song from the album which showcases Sikandar. The first track 'Dhokha' had Neha Uberoi gyrating to some pulsating music by Anu Malik while the subsequent track 'Kyon', composed and sung by Aryans, featured Sanjay Dutt in his item number appearance.
