 JAB WE MET not only attracted audience to theatres but also ruled the DVD market. It topped the retail charts of DVD sales for a long time until Samar Khan's SHAURYA penetrated the league.
As per reliable sources, it appears that Samar Khan's second directorial venture SHAURYA starring Rahul Bose, Kay Kay Menon, Minissha Lamba, Javed Jaffery, Deepak Dobriyal not only enjoyed the success at Box-Office but it has replaced JAB WE MET in DVD markets which has been the topper in DVD sales. After JAB WE MET, SHAURYA has taken charge of being the No.1 in retail DVD sales. Over and above this, despite the good DVD sales it is still running in theatres successfully.
According to the latest hearsay, seeing this overwhelming response, the SHAURYA team comprising of writer Jaydeep Sarkar and director Samar Khan are jointly planning for another movie. It is also heard that Samar is planning a historical genre this time around and it is in its scripting stage. Though nothing has been confirmed as yet, let's wait and watch what Samar is planning to offer next.
