In keeping with our constant endeavour of providing our patrons exclusive inputs about Priyadarshan's next (after BHOOL BHULAIYAA), MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP, here is something that will be appreciated by lovers of good quality comic fares. Some of the greatest acting talents of the industry have joined hands in the movie. No they are not Paresh Rawal and Om Puri because as we all know; they are a constant feature in most of Priyan's flick.
We are talking about the once-upon-a-time king of parallel cinema, Naseeruddin Shah who is working for the first time with Priyadarshan. It will definitely be a treat to watch Naseer teaming up with his 80s National Award (healthy) competitor, Om Puri, in an out an out Priyan comedy.
As may be recalled, the duo were seen sharing comic (though satirical) space in a brief but much appreciated cop act in Vishal Bhardwaj's MAQBOOL. And who can forget their still loved cult comic caper, Kundan Shah's JAANE BHI DO YAARON.
Here's hoping for a revival of the nostalgia, as this time around they have the likes of Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav etc. giving them company and not to mention, the 'baap' of comedies, Priyadarshan at the helm of affairs!
