No Kashmir premiere for LAMHAA

The much talked about film LAMHAA is getting closer to its date with the audiences. Though, the producers are still busy giving the finishing touch to the film, the formal announcement of the release date is expected soon.

The film which stars Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu and Kunal Kapoor in the lead is already making waves for its explosive subject. The director of the film Rahul Dholakia is attempting this subject after his last film PARZANIA won the national award.

Though the makers of this film have some big plans surrounding its premiere, it seems the plan of hosting a premiere in Kashmir has taken a back seat. Though it was the wish of the director and the producer to host the premiere in Kashmir, but now the plan has been changed.

According to the producer of LAMHAA, Bunty Walia, ''We won't be having the Kashmir premiere of LAMHAA now. Though we had thought about it earlier but now we have made changes in the plan. I would have loved it to happen but because of some reasons we have to put this idea to rest.''

The film, which created controversy earlier for its female lead getting terror threats while shooting in Kashmir, seems to be making some big news even before it hits the screen.
