Dia Mirza: Ready for action!

With many hot lasses like Deepika Padukone, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy turning up the heat and jumping into the action bandwagon, it looks like the Hindi film industry is all set for a scorching time ahead. The latest to join the fray is the ex-Miss Asia Pacific and successful actress, Dia Mirza.
Though it's a well known fact that Dia is all set to essay her first negative character in Sanjay Gupta's ACID FACTORY, but few will be aware that Dia has done some brilliant hardcore action sequences in the film.

When we had met Dia recently we had asked her about her negative role in ACID FACTORY, and this is what she had to say, ''The character that I play is a dark one, in fact what I have essayed is all black and I have performed some difficult action scenes which could not have been possible without prior training.'' When queried about the preparations that she had to undergo, Dia informed us that her character required intensive training, which she undertook under the able guidance of action coordinator, Tinu Varma. It was a fifteen day schedule which not only included learning how to use firearms but also how to perform stunts like jumping and looking fit. She added ''If I had not trained hard it would not have been possible for me to essay such a physically demanding role.''
Well, Dia here's looking forward to some pulsating action sequences and a repeat of the KAANTE success for the team of ACID FACTORY.
