A veteran of a little less than 100 films and being a part of the industry for close to couple of decades, Akshay Kumar believes in one thing and that happens to be spontaneity. Whether it's the early days of his career when he was working on a dozen odd projects simultaneously or the current stage when he is still working on multiple projects (though 3-4 at a time), Akshay has believed in letting himself go once the director calls 'action'. Not to be bogged down by the exact printed word on the dialogues sheet, Akshay goes on to mouth what he believes is perfect for the situation and something that comes straight from his heart.
''This is what I like doing in my films and KAMBAKKHT ISHQ is no exception. Once a scene is narrated to me and the dialogues are read out, I try my best to interpret them my way while keeping the director's vision in mind. After that I begin improvising, as long as the director is also happy. Really, I can't stick to what I am told to mouth on screen. This is why occasionally I don't modifying my dialogues as long as they aren't out of place'', says Akshay who is now in Mumbai for the final leg of KAMBAKKHT ISHQ's promotion.
It's the basic trait that the man from Delhi possesses due to which he admits that it's difficult for him to stick to the lines. He further reasons, ''I can't be 'lakeer ka fakeer'. For me it's difficult ki chalo ye bolna hai, yeh karna hai, isliye kar ke dikhayo. It becomes monotonous and boring. It's always nice to take a fresh view of things and bring in your perspective to the situation in the film''.
