Danny needs luck, as he is unlucky in LUCK!

One of the most charismatic actor of the last few decades, Danny Denzongpa, has essayed all kind of roles on screens and given action superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt etc a run for their money. Rated by none other than action king Akshay Kumar as his idol, Danny was last seen in the experimental and critically appreciated FROZEN.
The actor has quite a few films up for release this year which include Soham Shah's LUCK, Sanjay Gupta's ACID FACTORY, Sunny Deol's THE MAN and Rajnikant's ROBOT. Danny says that the reason that he is sparsely seen on screen is that he now wants to do meaningful roles, after having done a number of silly movies in the beginning of his career. Although he is quick to defend the films that he did earlier by saying that they were action oriented films, with more emphasis on action, rather than acting.

However, with LUCK he has been given a very interesting role. He adds that the film in its entirety has several interesting characters. In LUCK Danny is Lakhan Tamang, a know-all man, who has knowledge about each and every person and their history. Though the film is titled LUCK, and all characters are shown to be lucky, he is the odd one out, as he is shown to be unlucky!
Well, Danny sir, here's wishing you all the luck (despite being unlucky in LUCK!) for your forthcoming films so that you can continue to entertain us with your majestic performances and fill up the void left by the legend, Amrish Puri, because only you can do that!
