Rani, the slim-trim comeback queen!

For a brief period of time, Rani Mukherjee was indeed the reigning queen of Bollywood, with a number of superhit and hit films under her belt. However she could not capitalize on her success and the last two years have been particularly bad for Rani with flops like THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC, SAAWARIYA and LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG. Her last successful films were KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA and TA RA RUM PUM way back in 2006-07.

Fans of the dusky Bengali beauty were privileged to see her in special appearances in RAB NE BANA DI JODI and LUCK BY CHANCE. Since then they are awaiting her next which is DIL BOLE HADIPPA, opposite the new upcoming superstar, Shahid Kapur. The theatrical promo of the film looks extremely promising and entertaining and it appears that with DIL BOLE HADIPPA, Rani will definitely strike back with a vengeance and claw her way to the top. And she is working very hard in the direction and its showing in her slim and trim figure. In fact, Rani is so hooked on to exercising that she is accompanied by her personal trainer wherever she goes for shooting.
Apart from that Rani is looking to sign new films with other big banners (other than Yash Raj Films) and if sources are to be believed she has met quite a few top producers and directors to apprise them of her availability in case of a good and challenging role.
Well, that's good news. Here's hoping for a great comeback Rani!
