After being labelled as a sex symbol and item girl, doing some sleazy films like JULIE, SHEESHA etc, the bold and beautiful Neha Dhupia was languishing as just another pretty face, with a hot body and absolutely no films worth a mention.
However her career has now taken a positive turn with MITHYA, SINGH IS KINNG, DASVIDANIYA and MAHARATHI. The mentioned films brought respectability (as well as success in SINGH IS KINNG and MITHYA) to Neha's career and also highlighted her acting capabilities, an aspect that had gone unnoticed. And since then there is no looking back for Neha Dhupia, who looks back at her initial days as a learning experience and a passing phase.

Another learning experience for Neha Dhupia was her action oriented role in SINGH IS KINNG. She recalls that whenever she had to shoot with a gun she would put a finger in her ears and wince while shooting, but she got used to it within three days of shoot. And now she is extremely comfortable with action roles. May be, that is why she is the host of AXN's Action Awards. And her action idol is naturally action king Akshay Kumar, with whom she is doing two more films. They are Vipul Shah's ACTION REPLAY and Priyadarshan's DE DANA DAN, both of which are big projects. She says that Akshay is very professional, helpful and absolutely fearless, when it comes to doing action sequences and also very lucky for her because her first blockbuster was SINGH IS KINNG which did her career a world of good.
