Mind-blowing SFX in the trailer and poster show a colossal storm looming over the Mumbai skyline

''A giant cloud - so huge - that the skyscrapers of Mumbai look insignificant. Thunder and lightening falling on the city of Mumbai like swords trying to tear it apart. The huge waves from the stormy sea which may engulf the city at any moment...everything indicating that a storm is about to ravage the city of Mumbai.''

This not just a poetic description of any other rainy night in Mumbai. It is in fact what you see in the awe-inspiring first look poster of TUM MILE - which shows the city of Mumbai engulfed by the giant cloud on the fateful 26th July 2005 night. And if this is not enough, there's also the first theatrical teaser which scales new heights in showcasing the natural disaster!

CHECK OUT: Soha refuses to kiss Emraan

TUM MILE is slated to scorch the screens on 13th November 2009. Starring Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan, the movie is directed by Kunal Deshmukh of JANNAT fame. This film also marks the coming back of Pritam with the Bhatts & Sony Music.

Shridhar Subramaniam, Managing Director, Sony Music, said, ''TUM MILE is the first disaster movie in Bollywood of this scale. And it is quite necessary to showcase the scale, the canvas and the authenticity of the deluge to the audience the first time they see it. When it comes to entertainment, the first impression might not be the last one, but it definitely does a lot in carving setting up the project in audiences' minds.''

CHECK OUT: I learnt from CHOCOLATE experience

Mr. Mahesh Bhatt agrees, ''The idea behind the first look poster and theatrical teaser is to showcase the true hero of TUM MILE - which is the storm and the deluge. The fear lies in the unknown & its anticipation, and both these units make you feel the fear of the impending danger looming over the city.''

Adds Mr. Mukesh Bhatt, ''I think this is one of those few images which are both emotionally and rationally strong. It evokes fear - and at the same time also flaunts the scale of the movie. TUM MILE being the first natural disaster movie in India on this scale - it was necessary to showcase the extent we have gone to re-create the Mumbai deluge. And it has to be seen to be believed!!''

CHECK OUT: TUM MILE's wait for rain in vain

Both the first look image and the trailer have not been an easy task - with each of them having taken over a 100 days and endless hours of painstaking detailing to give it an authentic look. The first look image has been designed Archana Nair. ''The brief given to me was to show the city of Mumbai as never seen before. It had to showcase the wrath of nature - and evoke awe and fear at the same time. It took me over 3 months, over 100 reiterations and over a 300 layers to create this image. At the end of it, I think it's worth the pain'' he says.

The trailer has been created by Trigger Happy - who have also been responsible for creating widely applauded trailers of RAAZ TMC. Says Mukul from Trigger Happy, ''We had to out do what we had done for RAAZ TMC. When Sony Music and Kunal briefed us - they wanted the trailer to convey both the emotions and the scale of the movie. You have to see the footage Kunal has shot and the Special Effects done to create the deluge - it's just jaw-dropping. It's perhaps the longest we have taken to work on any trailer - about 3 months - and I can't wait to see the audience reaction to the trailer in the theatres! They are going to love it!''
