Role-swapping time for Tabu & Mallika Sherawat?

We are here to witness an incredible casting revolution of sorts. The latest reports doing the rounds suggest that Tabu replaces reigning sex bomb Mallika Sherawat, who was roped in to romance Sanju Baba in Rohit Shetty's comic caper ALL THE BEST. Isn't it a splendid coincidence that some time back Madame M had stepped in Tabu's shoes (rather mojris) for Sanjay Chhel's MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM.

With the spoof on the historic saga Mughal-E-Azam, apparently the producers were unwilling to pay the price Tabu asked for, when Mallika was literally crowned the 'queen' for this Mughal takeoff. But with ALL THE BEST, the fact that Mallika was charging a bomb was unlooked. Reportedly there was a delay in the shooting with Sanju's political campaigning, so the actress' dates were lost with no possibility to accommodate the film. So now Tabu has been approached, who has shown an interest in the project.
It is heard that it was producer Ajay Devgan's idea to cast Tabu, his good friend with their renowned onscreen chemistry in films like HAQEEQAT, VIJAYPATH & TAKSHAK. After playing a sikhni militant in MAACHIS, murderer in MAQBOOL and a taciturn housewife in NAMESAKE, ALL THE BEST will mark this two time national award winner's retreat to mainstream cinema after a much awaited hiatus. We wish the Ruk-Ruk girl 'All the Best!' for this glam doll role.
