| Last time when top actress Katrina Kaif visited the holy dargah (shrine) of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer, she became embroiled in a controversy due to her short dress. The occasion was the shoot of Vipul Shah's NAMASTEY LONDON, the film that broke the perception of her being just a pretty face as her acting was universally lauded.

However, this time around the intelligent and beautiful actress was fully prepared when she paid her obeisance to the holy saint at Ajmer, yesterday. As per shrine sources, Katrina Kaif visited the holy shrine of Ajmer, in Rajasthan on Tuesday, clad in a 'salwar-kameez' and wearing a black laced veil/scarf, in order to escape being mobbed. She prayed for the success of her latest film, Kabir Khan's NEW YORK, starring John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan and herself. Apparently she arrived from New Delhi, starting her journey as early as four in the morning.
Here's hoping and wishing that Katrina's visit to the holy shrine, and that too in the sweltering heat of Rajasthan, brings good luck to NEW YORK as well as Bollywood!
