| MUNDE UK DE released on the Friday gone by and is already en route to be a HIT. The film has opened to a very good response in Punjab, its target market, and is now all set to be third big success in a row for Jimmy Sheirgill. The film has released exactly a month after the release of TERA MERA KI RISHTA, another Punjabi film starring Jimmy Sheirgill, which is continuing to see good foot falls. Now with both his Punjabi films being successful and A WEDNESDAY as a prelude to them, Jimmy is seeing a huge revival of fortune in his career with a hat trick.
''Since there was quite some buzz being generated for MUNDE UK DE over last few weeks, I am not surprised at the way it has opened. We were all quite positive about the movie and with Manji [Manmohan Singh] at the helm of affairs, there was very good hope of the film clicking with the audience'', says Jimmy Sheirgill who is obviously elated with the film's success.

MUNDE UK DE is a romantic comedy about the two 3rd generation Punjabis in the U.K. [Jimmy Sheirgill and Gurpreet Ghuggi] who come visiting Punjab. As per director Manmohan Singh, the film looks at the 2nd and 3rd generation Punjabis from UK who are no longer connected with Punjab. How they fall in love but find it very difficult to win over the girls because of their British upbringing forms the crux of the film.
Also starring Amrinder Gill and Neeru Bajwa in principal roles, MUNDE UK DE is the sole box office success in the current times when there are no films releasing on theaters. The film has released in select theaters outside Punjab as well and would be gradually reaching other parts of the country.
''It is expected that both TERA MERA KI RISHTA and MUNDE UK DE would see a much wider release in Delhi and other cities after the Punjab euphoria has subsided to an extent. We would certainly be going places with these films'', concludes Jimmy with a smile.
