Boman and Simone reunite after BEING CYRUS

Three years after being seen together in BEING CYRUS, Boman Irani and Simone Singh would be arriving on the silver screen together again. The film in question is 99 which releases all over today. Just like BEING CYRUS where the duo played a couple, in 99 too Boman and Simone would be seen as husband and wife.
''After their BEING CYRUS stint, there were quite a few film makers who were keen to have Boman and Simone sharing the frame again. However, they didn't wish to come together in a movie just for the sake of it. When 99 came to them, they both were really excited about the parts narrated to them and instantly came on board without any hesitation'', informs a source close to the actors.
While in BEING CYRUS, Boman was seen as an abusive husband with Simone being a meek wife; it isn't the case this time around. In fact in 99, they share a much better relationship with Simone being the pillar of support for Boman.

The source adds, ''Even though Boman plays the role of a man who is a compulsive gambler, Simone is the reason why he doesn't hit rock bottom. He lies quite frequently and gets gambling at every given opportunity but she sees through everything.''
Meanwhile initial reports for 99 have been quite positive with the film being hailed as a cool thriller. While Boman is already being hailed as the star of the show, other senior actors like Mahesh Manjrekar and Vinod Khanna too have been stolen the show.
With the film releasing after weeks of drought at the box office, one hopes that audiences wake up to 99 and give Bollywood that much needed shot in the arm.
