If Jimmy Sheirgill is ecstatic, he is doing a super job in not showing it. One expects Jimmy to be all words for the twin blockbusters that he has just delivered with TERA MERA KI RISHTA and MUNDE U.K. DE. However, he is super chilled out and amazingly calm even as he is being hailed as an overseas superstar, especially due to the way his Punjabi films have performed in overseas in addition to the Punjab belt.
"A tag of a superstar is good to hear and wear but at the end of the day it all boils down to doing your assignment with full conviction and working hard", says Jimmy Sheirgill who is juggling well between Bollywood and Punjabi movies.

"Over last few weeks, we have made careful observations of how box office has treated both TERA MERA KI RISHTA and MUNDE U.K. DE", says Jimmy, "A particular trend has been noticed and it has also been found that there is quite some audience for these movies even in areas that are not quintessential strength zones for Punjabi films."
He is sure that his next film would have a much wider promotional plan and would release at not just the Punjab belt and overseas but even other centres.
"For my next film, we will definitely aim for bigger milestones. There would be much wider release and we would have a proper 6 weeks odd promotional campaign. There are some centres not just in Delhi but also Kolkata where there is a definite audience for Punjabi cinemas. TERA MERA KI RISHTA and MUNDE U.K. DE demonstrated the hunger with which audiences grabbed these films with both hands. We are certainly going to explore more territories and would expand the reach of our films", declares Jimmy.
