Katrina open, close November with successes?

Katrina Kaif, the uncrowned number one actress of Bollywood is all set to cement her position at the top with two of her upcoming projects, Rajkumar Santoshi's AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI and Priyadarshan's DE DANA DAN.
Certainly, the year 2009 may not have been a very fruitful one for Bollywood, but it has definitely seen Katrina consolidate her position as the numero uno actress. Yash Raj's NEW YORK was not only the first universal hit of 2009, but it also won her a lot of praise and accolades for a subtle and serious performance. Then came a surprise cameo in Shree Astavinayak's BLUE and her punk look in the film was the talk of all the youths who thronged the theaters to have a look at the diva, even in a seven minute appearance.

However, the best is yet to come. November opens with AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI, which is all set to release on 6th, and (as reported earlier on your favourite portal), is carrying tremendous hype and should turn out to be runaway success. November closes with Priyadarshan's DE DANA DAN (27th) which along with the cast of HERA PHERI, has Kat paired opposite her lucky charm, Akshay Kumar. The likely to succeed DE DANA DAN (this time thankfully with a controlled budget for an Akshay venture!) should definitely close November on a high for the Hindi film industry, providing it with the much needed successes.
