Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is super excited to portray Hollywood hottie, the Oscar winner, Julia Roberts' character which she had played in 1998's superhit comedy-drama STEPMOM.
Julia played a working girl, a successful photographer Isabel Kelly in STEPMOM. Following that Kareena will do a completely deglamourized role of working woman in Karan Johar's Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood hit STEP-MOM.
And it is believed that Kareena aka Bebo is leaving no stones unturned for it. She is gearing up really hard to match the levels of Julia Roberts. Reportedly she is even attending workshops on acting so that she can do justice to the character and perfectly play the ordinary working woman.
Talking about her looks in the film than its being said that renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra will do the designs and will give a completely different look to Kareena. She will also be seen in a new hairdo.
Directed by Siddharth Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar the STEPMOM remake also stars Kajol and Arjun Rampal respectively. And they will be seen doing the part of Oscar winner Susan Sarandon and Oscar nominated Ed Harris in the film. Interestingly Kareena and Kajol will play Soutens in this remake.
While Hollywood STEPMOM was filmed in New York and New Jersey states of USA, the Bollywood STEPMOM will be shot in Australia and USA. The storyline of Hollywood STEPMOM was about how the children and ex-wife (Susan Sarandon) cope when a new woman (Julia Roberts) enters in their father's life, who was a successful photographer, and did not plan to give up her work.
