JASHNN director duo's wish to work with Shahid Kapoor

If the director duo of recently released JASHNN are to be believed, it is in the process of finalizing a script for which Shahid Kapoor would be best suited to play the part of a lead protagonist. Though the plot is still being kept under the wraps, Hasnain Hyderabadwala and Raksha Mistry believe that the film would again challenge Shahid as an actor.
Says Hasnain, "Even when we were wrapping up JASHNN, we were busy closing in on the subject of our next film. This is again a sensitive tale that requires maturity from an actor. We see that in Shahid and before you jump the gun, let me tell you that our desire of roping in Shahid was much before KAMINEY became such a big hit. We have always loved him as an actor and the kind of performances that he has delivered over the years ever since he made his debut with ISHQ VISHK, we know that he would add a lot to our script."
In the past Hasnain and Raksha have worked with Emraan Hashmi in THE KILLER and THE TRAIN. For JASHNN they roped in Adhyayan Suman and while so far it has been an outing with the youngsters who were yet to establish themselves at the box office, for their next film they are looking for an actor who is also a star.
"We are yet to approach Shahid; let's see what he has to say. He would always remain to be our first choice though", says Hasnain.
The other half of the director duo, Raksha Mistry, was unavailable for comment.
