Hanuman Ansh continued its strong run at the Indian box office on its 8th Monday, collecting Rs. 2 crore nett. The devotional drama recorded a 33 per cent drop from its previous Friday collection. With this latest figure, the film has collected Rs. 20 crore nett in the first 4 days of its 8th week.
The film’s total collection currently stands at Rs. 294.25 crore nett in India, according to the figures provided. It is now only Rs. 5.75 crore away from entering the Rs. 300 crore club. Based on its current pace, the film is expected to finish its 8th week around the Rs. 24–25 crore mark. If that happens, it would give the film another major weekly box office milestone.
The latest numbers come after a strong 8th weekend for Hanuman Ansh. The film collected Rs. 3 crore on Friday, Rs. 6.50 crore on Saturday and an estimated Rs. 8.50 crore on Sunday, taking its weekend total to Rs. 18 crore nett. The film had already recorded the biggest 8th weekend at the Indian box office, according to Pinkvilla’s tracking.
What makes the run particularly notable is the difference between the film’s opening day and its current total. Hanuman Ansh opened with just Rs. 8 lakh and has now moved close to the Rs. 300 crore mark. Its weekly numbers also show how strongly the film continued to perform well after its initial release period.
The film has recorded Rs. 0.90 crore in Week One, Rs. 0.50 crore in Week Two, Rs. 10.35 crore in Week Three, Rs. 58.25 crore in Week Four, Rs. 84.75 crore in Week Five, Rs. 76.75 crore in Week Six and Rs. 42.75 crore in Week Seven.
The upcoming release of Drishyam: The Conclusion could affect the film’s collections as it enters its ninth week. Pinkvilla’s current tracking had placed the possible lifetime collection around Rs. 325 crore nett, while also noting that the film could go higher depending on how it holds against the new release.
