Hanuman Ansh has recorded an impressive fourth Monday at the Indian box office. The film collected Rs. 5 crore on its fourth Monday, making it the second biggest fourth Monday collection ever recorded by a Bollywood film. It has also moved ahead of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which collected Rs. 4.50 crore on its fourth Monday. However, the film still remains behind Dhurandhar, which holds the top position with Rs. 10 crore. The result is notable because Hanuman Ansh is much smaller in terms of budget, scale and star cast compared with several major Bollywood releases.
With the latest collection, Hanuman Ansh has earned Rs. 32.80 crore in the fourth week after four days. Its overall collection has now reached Rs. 44.50 crore nett at the Indian box office. The film is now very close to the Rs. 50 crore mark and could reach the milestone today or tomorrow, depending on its collections.
The film’s recent performance has also changed expectations for its final box office total. If the current pace continues, Hanuman Ansh could have a chance of crossing Rs. 100 crore nett in its final run. At this stage, however, its eventual total will depend on how well it performs in the coming days and weeks.
Hanuman Ansh has continued to attract audiences even with major films such as Spider Man: Brand New Day and Toxic playing in theatres. Its strong performance in the fourth week has helped it maintain steady business well after its release.
The film collected Rs. 90 lakh in Week 1, followed by Rs. 45 lakh in Week 2 and Rs. 10.35 crore in Week 3. Its fourth Friday brought in Rs. 6.15 crore, while Saturday and Sunday saw collections of Rs. 9.15 crore and Rs. 12.50 crore, respectively. With another Rs. 5.00 crore (est.) on Monday, the total has reached Rs. 44.50 crore nett in India.
