The much-awaited action film ‘Deva’, starring Shahid Kapoor, is all set to hit the screens on January 31, 2025. To generate more buzz, Shahid has released a new teaser, and advance bookings have begun.
In ‘Deva’, Shahid plays a brilliant yet rebellious police officer, and Pooja Hegde is a determined journalist. The movie has an excellent cast, such as Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, and Pravessh Rana. Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the movie will be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Umesh Bansal under the banner of Zee Studios, promising to be a thrilling ride.

While the advance booking shows some promise, the first-day collections of ₹11.18 lakh, as of January 29, 2025, seem mediocre. Shahid Kapoor’s recent releases include ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ with Kriti Sanon and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, an action drama opposite Salman Khan, released in 2023.
