Ajay Devgn is set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam The Conclusion, which is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 2. The final chapter of the franchise will once again follow Vijay as he tries to protect his family while facing fresh challenges from the law. This time, Vijay will have two new opponents. Jaideep Ahlawat will play an SP from the Crime Branch, while Prakash Raj will appear as lawyer Prakash Raj. Tabu will also return as Meera Deshmukh, Vijay’s existing adversary from the earlier films. The new chapter will explore how far Vijay is willing to go to keep his family safe and how he plans to hide the crime that has already become central to the franchise.
On August 24, Ajay Devgn unveiled the first poster of the film and officially announced the final chapter. The poster featured a close-up of his eye along with the line, “Mera sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai (My truth, my right is only my family).” The dialogue reflects Vijay’s belief that his family is the only truth and priority in his life.
The first look teaser, released in December 2025, had also offered a glimpse into Vijay’s mindset. In the teaser, his voiceover described how people have called him a criminal, murderer, deceitful person, hero, innocent father and mastermind. He then said, “The world calls me by many names – criminal, murderer, deceitful, cunning, fraudulent, hero, innocent, father, and mastermind. But it doesn’t matter to me. Because I understood one thing from whatever happened, whatever I did, saw, or showed in the past seven years: In this world, every person’s truth is different, as are their rights. My truth and right are my family. As long as things don’t stop, as long as others don’t fail, I will stand here, like a gatekeeper and a wall.”
Backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios, the film is directed by Abhishek Pathak. Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Sriya Saran will reprise their roles, while Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj join the cast in new parts.
