Netflix India has released the official trailer of its new espionage thriller Saare Jahan Se Accha, which features Pratik Gandhi in a raw new avatar. Based on the tumultuous 1970s Indo-Pak political climate, the series delves into the world of intelligence and diplomacy with high stakes and impending nuclear threats.
The teaser sets the scene with audience introduction to Vishnu Shankar, an R&AW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent played by Gandhi, who is sent to Pakistan on a perilous mission. His mission: to disrupt the nation’s burgeoning nuclear plans before a doomsday scenario unfolds. The tension mounts as Vishnu penetrates deeper into enemy lines, particularly when he faces off against Murtaza Mallik, a suave and menacing ISI agent played by Sunny Hinduja.
A Race Against Time and Political Chaos
The show delves into what might happen when a single misstep during a time of upheaval could result in world catastrophe. The official description says:
