Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are preparing to welcome their second child, and the couple have now given fans a rare glimpse into their family life. The actors shared a series of intimate black and white photographs as they celebrate their daughter Dua Padukone Singh’s second birthday. The special occasion made the family photos even more meaningful as they prepare to become parents again.
In one of the pictures, Ranveer can be seen standing close to Deepika while gently holding her baby bump. The couple smile at each other with their foreheads touching. Deepika is dressed in a fitted lace outfit, while Ranveer keeps his look simple with a white shirt and trousers. Another photograph features their daughter Dua standing between her parents. The little girl can be seen playfully covering her face while Deepika and Ranveer crouch beside her. The couple have generally kept Dua away from the public eye, making the pictures a rare look at the family together.
Sharing the photographs, Ranveer wrote, “Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings (sic).”
Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child, daughter Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024. Since her birth, the couple have largely kept her away from public attention and have chosen to keep details about her life private.
The couple announced their second pregnancy earlier this year through a joint Instagram post featuring Dua. In the photograph, Dua was seen holding a pregnancy test showing two pink lines, while both parents gently held her hands. Deepika accompanied the post with evil eye emojis.
Deepika and Ranveer got married in 2018 after being in a relationship for several years. Despite her pregnancy, Deepika has continued with her professional commitments. She will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atlee’s sci fi action film Raaka, which stars Allu Arjun. Reports have said that Deepika continued shooting portions of Raaka during her pregnancy.
Ranveer, meanwhile, has started work on Pralay and is currently filming the project in Mumbai.
