Bollywood star Kiara Advani is ready to debut at this year’s Met Gala, to take place on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The pregnant-to-be actress will be among international celebrities on the big fashion platform, a milestone in her acting career. Kiara debuted at Cannes last year when she took part in Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema Gala Dinner. As per ANI, this year’s participation of Kiara at the Met Gala will boost her increasing trend in global affairs.

Kiara’s appearance at the Met Gala, which is coming up soon, is on the lines of other Indian stars such as Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra, who have appeared for India at the legendary gala. The actors have, on every occasion, brought an Indian flavor to the gala, which speaks volumes about Indian talent making waves in the international world of fashion.
Kiara’s Pregnancy Announcement
In the meantime, Kiara and her actor husband Sidharth Malhotra are eagerly awaiting their first child. The couple shared the news of their pregnancy in February 2025 with a cute post in which tiny white knitted baby socks were placed, captioned “The greatest gift of our lives.” Ever since then, the couple has maintained a low profile and appeared in public just a few times.

Kiara and Sidharth were spotted house hunting in Mumbai in March, visiting a building site. Kiara wore casual clothes in an oversized pink top and black trousers, accompanied by security. Sidharth walked hand in hand with her as they left the site.
Kiara and Sidharth’s Love Story
Sidharth and Kiara fell in love on the sets of the 2021 war drama Shershaah, whose chemistry was apparent. They kept their love life private for a few months before getting married in a small but majestic ceremony in Rajasthan in February 2023.
Kiara was last spotted in Game Changer, whereas Sidharth was seen in Yodha and shall also soon be seen in Param Sundari.
