The video, posted on Varun’s social media handles, shows the actor covered in vibrant Holi colors, dancing and having fun with his co-stars. He, along with Maniesh Paul, shared the video on Instagram, teasing fans about the new Holi song in the film. Varun wrote, “Happy Holi, wishing you straight from the sets of #sunnysanskarikitulsikumari. BTS can’t wait for you to hear our new Holi song. Sooon……”
Fans flooded the comments with excitement, with one fan writing, “Can’t wait,” and another saying, “Happy Holi.” The video gives a glimpse into the festive atmosphere on set, adding to the anticipation of the film’s release.

Film Details and Release Update
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions, also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi. Initially slated for release on April 18, 2025, the film’s release date has now been pushed to the second half of the year. According to reports, the makers, including Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan, believe the film could benefit from additional fun elements and have planned another shooting schedule around a destination wedding sequence.
This extended schedule, along with pending song shoots, has delayed the release. About 25 more days of shooting remain, and the film is now expected to hit screens later in 2025. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will be one of two major rom-coms from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, with the other being Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera set for release in 2025.
