Kartik’s Surprising Test in Kaanchi
In spite of being a natural performer in romance sequences, Kartik once surprised everyone by experiencing a challenging task on the set while shooting Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. In 2014’s romantic thriller, Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, Kartik starred alongside Mishti Chakraborty. Though the movie was a romance thriller, there was a special kissing sequence which became an arduous job for Kartik.

Remembering the experience, Kartik explained, “I never thought that a kissing scene would turn out to be such a headache. That day, we played lovers, but it took 37 retakes to finally get it right. When Subhash ji finally gave his nod of approval, saying, ‘Okay,’ we were so relieved.”

Kartik’s Playful Take on the Scene
In a tongue-in-cheek tone, Kartik joked, “I felt Mishti could be intentionally messing up. Subhash Ghai desired a very romantic kiss, and I honestly had no idea how to do it! I even thought of asking him, ‘Sir, you teach me how to kiss!'”

Kaanchi: The Unbreakable had a star cast of Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor, Adil Hussain, Mukesh Bhatt, and Mahima Chaudhry in an appearance. Kaanchi: The Unbreakable was based on a 19-year-old girl who is seeking justice as she witnessed the murder of her lover.

The movie, even though not being a blockbuster, is still the most discussed thing of Kartik’s career.
