Loveyapa is a Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Advait Chandan. The film, starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan in the lead roles, is a remake of the 2022 Tamil hit ‘Love Today’. Aamir Khan has promoted this film of his son Junaid Khan a lot.
In the story of the film, Gaurav and Bani i.e. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor love each other. When Gaurav goes to meet Bani’s father Ashutosh Rana, the father sets a condition that both of them will give their phones to each other and that too for 24 hours. This is where each other’s secrets are revealed, but the matter does not stop here.

Even though the film is a remake, its subject is fresh and the story reflects today’s youth and their relationships. The story of the film Loveyapa is a very relatable film for today’s generation, which also gives a good message.
Khushi Kapoor has brought life to her character in the film. Khushi has captured the emotions ranging from romance very well. Seeing Khushi’s confidence, it does not seem that this is her first film. Junaid Khan is fine in some parts of the film. His flat is set up at some places and the emotional scenes do not touch the heart.
Director Advait Chandan has made the film keeping in mind today’s generation. The film addresses topics like privacy, digital trust, video morphing and cheating in relationships which are very important in today’s time.
But these important messages could have been presented more effectively. The music of the film is very simple whose songs do not remain in the mind after leaving the theatre. The second half of the film is quite weak due to which the film seems dragged on.
Overall, the subject of the film Loveyapa is good. When the film starts, expectations are high but as the film progresses, it becomes ordinary.
