Ajay Devgn is all set to return as one of his most popular characters, Vijay Salgaonkar. The actor has officially announced the third and final instalment of the Hindi Drishyam franchise, titled Drishyam The Conclusion. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2, 2026, and will bring Vijay’s story to its final chapter.
Ajay Devgn made the announcement on August 24 by sharing the first poster of Drishyam The Conclusion. The poster carries the powerful line, “Mera Sach, Mera Sahi, Sirf Meri Family Hai” (My truth, my right, only my family). The tagline once again highlights the central idea of the franchise, which has always been Vijay’s determination to protect his family at any cost.
The first look of the film had already created curiosity among fans when a teaser was released in December 2025. In the teaser, Ajay’s voice could be heard explaining Vijay’s thoughts and how he sees the events of the past seven years. He said, “The world calls me by many names — criminal, murderer,deceitful,cunning, fraud,cunning, hero, innocent, father, and mastermind. But it doesn’t matter to me. Because I understood one thing from whatever happened, whatever I did, saw, or showed in the past seven years: In this world, every person’s truth is different, as are their rights. My truth and right are my family. As long as things don’t stop, as long as others don’t fail, I will stand here, like agatekeeper and a wall.”

Drishyam The Conclusion is backed by Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios. Abhishek Pathak, who directed the second film, is returning to direct the final instalment. He has also co written the screenplay with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are producing the movie.
The Drishyam franchise follows Vijay Salgaonkar, a simple family man living in Goa who finds himself caught in a serious situation after a murder takes place at his home. Using his intelligence and careful planning, Vijay goes to great lengths to protect his wife and daughters and keep them away from the law.
The third film will once again feature Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu returning as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran as Nandini. Rajat Kapoor will also reprise his role, while Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat will join the cast in new roles.
The shooting of Drishyam The Conclusion has already been completed, and the film is currently in post production. With the story now heading towards its final chapter, fans will be eager to see how Vijay Salgaonkar’s long running battle with the law finally comes to an end.
