Late Bollywood icon Irrfan Khan is still remembered for his remarkable performances. Following in his son’s footsteps, Baabil Khan has joined the film industry, attempting to create his own niche with different roles. In a recent interview, Baabil spoke on the notion of playing his father if a biopic was ever to be created.
Talking about the possibility, Baabil added, “It would be a huge honor for me to bring Baba’s character on screen. I would love to do it. But at this nascent stage of my career, the idea is very overwhelming. My Baba was navigating profound complexities even at the age of 26, which he used to speak of.”
Hailing Irrfan’s Timeless Versatility
Baabil also remembered his father’s unparalleled acting ability, observing how Irrfan effortlessly bridged diverse roles in his career. He said, “Baba played everything from a serial killer to a romantic hero and never ever looked out of place. He never took his age into consideration. Without the assistance of any VFX, he had the ability to make people believe that he was anywhere between 20 and 100 years old.”. That’s why he was able to play convincingly both a killer and a lovesick lover.
Baabil’s Expanding Career
On the professional front, Baabil was seen in the recent film Logout as a social media influencer who is fixated on increasing his followers. The young actor is gradually adding to his body of work with diverse characters. Baabil also hinted about his upcoming project, stating he will be soon seen in a romantic-comedy web series, though he decided not to share more information at the moment.
