Actress Mrunal Thakur recently surprised fans by unveiling her hidden talent—photography. In celebration of the upcoming World Photography Day on Tuesday, she shared a stunning collection of aesthetic and candid photos on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse into her camera roll.
From a dramatic shadow on the sand to serene ocean views, Mrunal’s pictures radiate warmth and intimacy. Her feed also included architectural shots—one of a church and another that appears to be a cozy bar or restaurant. But the most heartwarming frames feature her brother, Dhaval Thakur, capturing tender family moments.
More Than Just a Hobby
In a heartfelt caption, Mrunal shared her deeper connection with photography. “I’ve always believed that a picture is worth a thousand words,” she wrote. “Since taking photography more seriously, I feel that even more.” Her passion, she explained, is fueled by a desire to explore and learn—a curiosity that goes beyond casual admiration.
Last year, she took a significant step by investing in her first Leica camera. Calling it “part joy and part terror,” Mrunal confessed, “I was excited but also scared I’d be terrible. But I took the leap.”
The Beauty of the Process
Reflecting on the journey, she added, “I thought I’d share a few stills from my camera—after countless hours of overthinking! But maybe that’s the beauty of it: the process, the pause, and the patience.”
