Humaima Malick, of BOL fame, is now set to make her mark in Bollywood with the action-thriller SHER opposite Sanjay Dutt.

Humaima will play Sanjay Dutt’s wife in the film. Regarding her first ever opportunity to star in an Indian film, Humaima says, “I feel I’m crossing the border with a role that echoes my earlier film. I am not just the male protagonist’s wife here. Like my character in BOL, here too, my character revolts against patriarchy.”

With the success of BOL, Malick has not only made her presence felt in the film industry, but she has also won many laurels for her performance.
The film which has been shot in Jaipur, Gujarat and Rajasthan has been directed by Soham Shah of KAAL. Also featuring Vivek Oberoi and Paresh Rawal, SHER is set for release at the end of this year.
