Faraz Khan EXPLODES on Producers! Ganapath Actor Accuses Them of Non-Payment, Threatens Legal Action

Faraz Khan, the actor who portrayed the role of ‘Thabhil’ in Ganapath 2023, has gone on record to accuse the producers of the film of not paying him. In a forthright post on Instagram, Faraz claimed that even though he had done all his shots and worked tirelessly along with the main cast, two payments of his are outstanding.

The movie, which was produced by Pooja Entertainment, which is owned by Jackie Bhagnani and his father Vashu Bhagnani, came out just about two years ago. Faraz disclosed that he has made several efforts to reach the production house but got vague promises in return, nothing specific taken to sort out the matter. He chastised the industry for its bias towards big stars and technicians while frequently ignoring smaller stars who also play a valuable role in the success of a film.

Faraz also blamed the payment processing agency for avoiding his calls and bringing confusion to the payment procedure. Angered by what he called “unprofessional behaviour,” the actor labeled it as an insult to his dignity and self-respect. He stressed that though the glamour of Bollywood is always in the limelight, the plight of supporting actors seldom gets heard.

Seeking justice, Faraz has demanded a public apology from the producers and threatened legal action if his dues are not settled soon. He called upon the industry to stand for justice and ensure that smaller artists are not harassed and exploited in this manner.

So far, neither Pooja Entertainment nor the Bhagnanis have made an official statement regarding Faraz Khan’s claims. The scandal has again brought to light the prevailing issue of delayed or withheld payments to artists in Indian cinema.
