Mala Tiwari, Kartik Aaryan’s mom, might have just let the cat out of the bag regarding her actor son being in a relationship with South Indian actress Sreeleela. At the IIFA Awards 2025, a clip going viral on social media shows Mala being asked about her expectations regarding her future daughter-in-law. Talking about her expectations, she said that the family feels that Kartik’s wife must be a very good doctor.

This statement has increased curiosity, as Sreeleela is studying to be a doctor. Even though Kartik and Sreeleela have not confirmed or denied their relationship officially, Mala’s statement has definitely piqued the fans’ interest. This news came after reports of the two spending time together, such as when they both attended a celebration at Kartik’s family home for his sister Dr. Kritika Tiwari’s milestone in her career.
In a viral video of the event, Kartik is seen recording Sreeleela while she confidently flaunts her dance on the ‘Kissik’ song from Pushpa 2. On-screen pairing and chemistry-building. Sreeleela and Kartik will be seen romancing on the big screen in an untitled film directed by Anurag Basu.
This is their first ever pairing, and the teaser for the film has already made heads turn as the couple showcases sizzling chemistry. In the teaser, a brooding Kartik croons ‘Tu Meri Zindagi’ on stage while glimpses of his romantic moments with Sreeleela steal the hearts of the audience. The film is going to be released this Diwali; thus, adding more intrigue to their off-screen chemistry.
