Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi has spoken out in support of Katrina Kaif after the actress faced body shaming on social media following a recent public appearance. Shivaleeka shared a post featuring Katrina and questioned the negative comments about her appearance after becoming a mother.
Calling out the way people reacted to Katrina’s postpartum body, Shivaleeka wrote, “Kya ho gaya hai means?!?! This is Motherhood!” She also explained that changes in a woman’s body after childbirth are normal and should not become a reason for criticism.
Shivaleeka further wrote, “This is what normal postpartum recovery looks like – the good, the bad, the bloating, the exhaustion and everything in between.” She added, “Stop glorifying a version of motherhood that doesn’t exist.” The actress also shared her disappointment over seeing several similar posts and comments targeting Katrina.
“After seeing multiple of such posts in the last few days… can’t help but think how ridiculous the thought process is!” Shivaleeka wrote while sharing the post.

Katrina became the target of social media trolling after making a rare public appearance with her husband Vicky Kaushal in Mumbai on August 26. The couple attended the funeral of filmmaker Kuku Kohli, who passed away on August 25. Since becoming a mother, Katrina has largely stayed away from the public eye.
Following the appearance, several social media users commented on Katrina’s post pregnancy weight and appearance. One user wrote, “This is terrible, what happened to Katrina?” Another commented, “She looks like a rasgulla.” One more user wrote, “She got 100% Indianized. Even the walk. Holy crap.”
Katrina welcomed her first child, son Vihaan Kaushal, with Vicky in November 2025. The couple had announced their pregnancy in September 2025 and welcomed their son on November 7, 2025. They had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2021.
On the work front, Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi, which released in 2024. Since then, the actress has kept her professional commitments relatively low key while focusing on motherhood and her newborn son.
