The IIFA 2025 pre-event witnessed Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan in a fun conversation when they were spotted together in Mumbai on Friday. This is in line with the preparation of Kartik Aaryan to host the 25th edition of IIFA Awards at Jaipur, while Shah Rukh gave some anchoring tips to him. In a series of videos, Shah Rukh coached Kartik on how to impress the audience in a traditional Rajasthani style, advising him to start by saying, “Padharo mhare IIFA” (Welcome to IIFA) and then “Padhaaro mhaare des, Rajasthan” (Welcome to my state, Rajasthan). The two even greeted the crowd with a cheerful “Khamma Ghani” and a respectful bow, which sparked loud applause.
For the evening, Shah Rukh Khan stepped out in all-black chic-dress shirt and pants with an open blazer on, completed by a small rounded ear cuff. Kartik had dressed up nicely in a crisp white shirt with a tie in a navy blazer with blue matching pants. Nora Fatehi also attended. She was there in a turtleneck neck black, with a blazer and print skirt and sporting a bright red belt. Attending was Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Fans were quick to respond to Shah Rukh’s ear cuff, complimenting his unique style and the way he effortlessly experimented with his look. As 2025 marks the Silver Jubilee of the IIFA Awards, Shah Rukh reflected on the event’s incredible journey, expressing pride and excitement to celebrate this milestone in Jaipur. He said, “IIFA has been a shining beacon of Indian cinema’s global resonance. Celebrating its Silver Jubilee in Jaipur is magical.
The IIFA Awards will be presented in its 25th edition on 8 and 9 March 2025 in Jaipur. Shah Rukh Khan co-hosted the event last year in Abu Dhabi along with Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar.
