Kunickaa Sadanand Defends Udit Narayan

In response to the controversy, singer Kunickaa Sadanand came to Udit Narayan’s defense. Speaking with Hindi Rush, Kunickaa acknowledged that while the kiss was “alright,” she believed it was in the “wrong place” and that Udit should have kissed the fan on the cheek instead of the lips. She further explained that the fan had approached Udit for the kiss, questioning why the blame was solely placed on the singer. “If sweets are served on your plate, wouldn’t you eat them?” Kunickaa remarked, suggesting that the situation was a mutual interaction.

Stage Performances and High Emotions

Kunickaa went on to discuss the emotional and euphoric state that performers often experience during live shows. She explained, “Stage shows are a different emotion altogether. You’re on a high with the audience’s energy, and sometimes, you act in a trance-like state, doing things you wouldn’t normally do.” She argued that people should not only blame the man in such situations, urging viewers to reflect on their own actions before criticizing others.

While Kunickaa’s defense of Udit Narayan has sparked debate, her remarks highlight the complexity of interactions during high-energy live performances.
