Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War has unveiled a new poster featuring Alia Bhatt in a retro inspired look. The actress appears in a red sequin co ord set, paired with a dramatic feather accessory in her hair. The poster brings a vintage glamour to the upcoming romantic war drama, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
The makers shared the poster with the caption, “Aag bhi, dilon ki jaan bhi! Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War on 21st January 2027.” The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 21, 2027.
The poster comes after the film completed its shoot. Bhansali and the team reportedly marked the occasion with an emotional farewell to the cast and crew. With filming now complete, the director is expected to focus on post production, where the film will be edited and prepared for its theatrical release.
Love & War is expected to tell the story of two strong willed army officers, played by Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, whose lives become complicated by a love triangle involving Alia Bhatt’s character. The film is set against a military backdrop and brings together romance, friendship and conflict. It is also expected to be the most expensive film of Bhansali’s career, although the makers have not officially confirmed the budget.
Several behind the scenes pictures from the film’s sets have circulated on social media since last year. One such picture showed Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal dressed in Indian Air Force uniforms, giving fans a glimpse of their characters as officers in the film.
The project marks Bhansali’s reunion with Ranbir Kapoor after Saawariya, which released in 2007 and marked the actor’s debut. It also brings the director back together with Alia Bhatt after their collaboration on Gangubai Kathiawadi.
With the shoot completed and post production expected to begin, Love & War is moving towards its planned January 21, 2027 release. The new poster offers a glimpse of Alia Bhatt’s character, while further details about the story remain under wraps.
