Love Lottery trailer: Akshay Oberoi’s suspense drama explores love, betrayal and legal battles

Love Lottery trailer starring Akshay Oberoi explores love, marriage, betrayal and legal battles, with the suspense thriller releasing on September 18, 2026.

The trailer of the upcoming Hindi suspense thriller and social courtroom drama Love Lottery was unveiled at a special press conference in New Delhi. The event was attended by lead actors Akshay Oberoi, Vijayant Kohli and Agni Agyari, along with director Arvind Pandey and producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’. Families who said they had personally experienced what they described as the misuse of women centric laws were also present during the trailer launch.

Produced by Cinema Ganj Films, Love Lottery looks at modern relationships and the problems that can arise from love, marriage, betrayal and legal disputes. The film also brings the subject of men’s rights into its story. Rather than presenting a straightforward love story, the trailer introduces a relationship filled with mistrust, emotional conflict and questions about what actually happened between the people involved.

The 2 minutes and 10 seconds trailer moves through different aspects of relationships, including marriage, divorce, betrayal and marriages linked to money. As the story develops, the audience is introduced to situations where it becomes difficult to understand who is telling the truth. One of the notable lines in the trailer says, “Some things can belong only to two people — one’s child and one’s self,” adding an emotional and confrontational element to the story.

Akshay Oberoi plays the central character as the story moves between love, suspicion and a fight for justice. Heli Daruwala also stars in the film, while Kabir Duhan Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Hemant Pandey, Indira Krishnan, Santosh Shukla, Vikramm Sharma, Agni Agyari, Kumar Saurabh, Ashwant Lodhi and Arshdeep Sandhu appear in key roles.

Director Arvind Pandey says, “Love Lottery is not just a story about relationships. It explores questions that many people can relate to today. We wanted to blend emotion and suspense while bringing different shades of relationships, legal disputes and human conflict into the story. The trailer gives only a glimpse of what is coming; the real mystery unfolds in the film.”

Producer Kuldeep Bhargava ‘Tushar’ says, “Love Lottery brings together relationship complexities, legal disputes, emotional conflict and questions around men’s rights, but presents them through an entertaining suspense-driven story. The trailer only opens the door to the film’s world. Who is right, who is wrong and what really happened will only be revealed on the big screen.”

Love Lottery is directed by Arvind Pandey and written by Ankur Khattri. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 18, 2026.
