Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much discussed romantic war drama Love & War has completed its principal photography after nearly two years of filming. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles and has been one of the major projects in Hindi cinema currently in production. Shooting began in November 2024, and the team has now officially completed the filming stage.
The cast and crew marked the end of the shoot with a wrap celebration. Pictures from the occasion showed members of the team coming together to celebrate the completion of the long filming schedule. The images were also shared under the Bhansali Productions banner, giving fans a glimpse of the people who worked on the film behind the scenes.
With principal photography now complete, the film will move into post production. This stage will involve editing, visual effects, sound work, background music and other finishing work needed before the movie reaches theatres. Since the film is being made on a large scale and combines romance with a war based story, the post production process is expected to be an important part of bringing the final film together.
Love & War brings Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal together in a story that revolves around love, relationships and conflict. The film is currently scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 21, 2027. It is planned to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, allowing the film to reach audiences across different parts of the country.
The completion of shooting is an important milestone for Love & War, but the film still has several months of post production ahead before its theatrical release. For now, the team has officially finished the filming process and the next phase of work will focus on preparing the film for its January 2027 release.
