One of Bollywood’s most highly anticipated comedy sequels, “No Entry 2,” has finally begun gaining traction with thrilling casting news. In a report by Peeping Moon, actress Tamannaah Bhatia has officially joined the cast as one of the female leads in the movie. This is her second high-profile signing in quick succession, after playing opposite Ajay Devgn in Ranger, for which she is already on sets.

Tamannaah will play a character drawn from Bipasha Basu’s original 2005 film hit role in No Entry, delving into comedy for the first time. According to those involved with the production, she’s eager to get started on the challenge and be part of the sequel’s new energy. Aditi Rao Hydari is rumored to be negotiating another high-profile role but no announcement has been made officially.

New Faces, New Madness But Same Comic Spirit

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the new film boasts a fresh-bundled cast, with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor taking on the lead roles. The director was spotted recently on Instagram posting behind-the-scenes pictures of Greece, where pre-production has begun. He was spotted alongside producer Boney Kapoor and DOP Manu Anand, giving fans a glimpse with the caption: “Plotting new adventures in Greece…”


Boney Kapoor Confirms Diwali 2025 Release

In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, producer Boney Kapoor revealed that filming for No Entry 2 will commence in June or July 2025, and a Diwali release date of October 26, 2025 has been planned. Kapoor was sure about the storyline of the film and said that those who have heard the script feel it is even better than the first one.

But he also disclosed that the initial cast – comprising his brother Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Fardeen Khan could not be retained for different reasons. “I waited long enough, but everybody had their own reasons and I respect that,” he mentioned.

Reported Rift Between Boney and Anil Kapoor

Meanwhile, reports have emerged suggesting that Anil Kapoor is upset with Boney Kapoor over being left out of the sequel. While nothing has been officially confirmed, industry insiders hint at a strained dynamic between the brothers following the new casting decisions.

As anticipation builds, fans can look forward to a fresh take on the comedy classic with a star-studded cast and a revamped storyline.
