The politically charged thriller The Diplomat unpacks the adventure of John Abraham. The trailer just released has succeeded in holding everyone’s attention with its gripping storyline and high-impact performances. Sadia Khateeb, Sharib Hashmi, Revathy, and Kumud Mishra also feature in the movie. It is a story dedicated to the historic initiatives of Indian diplomat J.P. Singh in 2017 when he launched a mission to bring back India’s daughter home.

The Mission Targets High Stakes
The trailer begins by showing a Muslim woman seeking refuge in the Indian embassy in Pakistan; she claims she has been a victim of forcible marriage. Initially skeptical, John Abraham’s character later takes on her case that ends with a tense, calculated rescue mission. Its actions rather deal with diplomacy than war, where negotiation and tact are portrayed as the last weapons of a hero.
John Abraham About Playing J.P. Singh
The project casts John as the actual diplomat J.P. Singh, who sets on his daring mission to rescue the so-called Daughter of India, who had been illegally detained. About playing the role, John stated: “Diplomacy is a battlefield in which words are mightier than weapons. Uzma’s story is the shining face of India’s strength and bravery, and I am proud to bring this inspiring journey to life on-screen.”

This movie is a fresh departure for John Abraham, wherein the character is moved by strategy and intellect than physical prowess. The fans await his part-one in such a strong-headed and dynamic role.
