The truth revealed! Saif Ali Khan’s friend Afsar Zaidi shares what really happened at the hospital

The wide concern that has been generated and various conspiracy theories-all over his recent attack at his home located in Bandra-have largely targeted the details of how the actor could have reached the hospital, Lilavati, following the incident. Reports had stated that it was Saif’s son, Taimur, or even his elder son, Ibrahim, who was seen accompanying him to the hospital. Another hospital document surfaced subsequently, indicating that a family friend of the Pataudis, Afsar Zaidi, had brought Saif to the hospital. The document mentioned Zaidi in the “brought to the hospital by” column, but also noted that admission time was 4:11 AM, even though the attack took place around 2:30 AM.

This created more speculation about a possible delay in the arrival of Saif at the hospital. According to India Today, Zaidi clarified that he did not bring Saif to the hospital but received a call from the Pataudis around 3:30 AM requesting him to help Saif get admitted. Zaidi explained that Taimur, who was too young to complete the hospital admission form, may have led to his name being signed on the document. The time of entry, according to Lilavati Hospital COO Dr. Niraj Uttamani, actually mentioned the time when Zaidi came and filled the form, but it was not the time when Saif reached the hospital first. Saif is said to have reached around 3:30 AM.

After the assault, Saif was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and went back to his apartment in Bandra. The actor, along with his wife Kareena Kapoor and their two children, is now receiving temporary police protection. Two constables have been assigned to ensure the family’s safety, particularly during their outings. Saif sustained six injuries, including deep cuts on his neck and back, after an intruder attacked him with a knife during an attempted burglary. The arrested accused is a Bangladeshi national. According to the police, the intruder was unaware of Saif’s celebrity status.
