A day after Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by a robber at his Mumbai residence, it has now been reported that the actor is doing fine and is getting better. As per the team of doctors treating Saif, the Bollywood actor is showing more signs of improvement. He is likely to be shifted from the ICU to a special room.
According to reports, once Saif is discharged from the ICU, Mumbai police will question him to record his statement. The officials of Mumbai Police will visit the actor in hospital to interrogate him about the tragic incident.
Earlier in the day, it was also said that police are questioning two labourers working on the terrace of Saif’s building. Apparently, this is only a preliminary questioning being conducted to find if anybody who knew the inside of the building assisted the intruder.
Police officials know the intruder knew the details about Saif’s building. He approached the actor’s house using the staircase and shaft and is supposed to have come out from the rear gate hence not captured on the camera. So, cops suspect that the intruder knew about the details about Saif’s building.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the wee hours of January 16. At about 2 AM, the actor heard noises when one of his female employees was attacked in Jeh’s room. This prompted Saif to intervene, which led to an altercation between the two and the attacker injured both Saif and the female employee. The Bollywood star was stabbed six times by the robber following which he was rushed to the hospital. The actor is now out of danger.
On Thursday night, Kareena Kapoor Khan also issued a statement and appealed for privacy as their family processes the traumatic experience. “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded.”. I humbly and respectfully request that the media and paparazzi refrain from relentless speculation and coverage.” She was concerned for their safety and urged the media to respect their boundaries: “The constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request your cooperation during this sensitive time,” she wrote.
