Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has sent his fans into a tizzy with the launch of a new poster of his upcoming action movie Sikander. Salman shared the gripping poster on his social media on Tuesday, in which he can be seen with a knife in his hand and a stern and aggressive look on his face. The poster again generates the buzz around the film, with fans waiting with bated breath for its release on the big screen.
Release Date and Hype Surrounding the Film
The highly awaited Sikander will be released on March 28, 2025, coinciding with the Eid al-Fitr festival, which is traditionally a time for big movie releases in the Indian cinema scene. The release announcement followed speculation that the film might be delayed, particularly following the injury of actress Rashmika Mandanna. Confirmation of the release date has nonetheless generated anticipation among movie fans.

This poster launch also happens to fall on the birthday of the producer of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala. The production house, in the caption, thanked fans for being patient and presented this new look at the film as a birthday gift to Nadiadwala.
Star-Studded Cast and Action-Packed Plot
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikander is also among the most ambitious endeavours under Sajid Nadiadwala’s flag. In a promo released earlier, Salman Khan is seen in pure action mode, fighting masked, armored men, his character Sikander being introduced in a powerful and mysterious silhouette. The action-oriented drama will reportedly make for an enthralling cinematic experience.
Besides Salman Khan, Sikander has Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar as its cast. With Pritam’s music, the film’s shoot is currently in process, and people are eagerly awaiting to see what will be an entertainer on a high note.
