Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, fondly known as King Khan, has temporarily moved out of his iconic Bandra bungalow, Mannat, due to ongoing renovation work. Currently, Shah Rukh is residing with his wife Gauri Khan and children Aryan, Suhana, and Abram in a luxurious duplex apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area. According to reports, the monthly rent of this new residence is approximately ₹24.15 lakh.

A Dip in Footfall Around Mannat
Shah Rukh’s temporary relocation has not only surprised his fans but also significantly affected the livelihood of local shopkeepers and street vendors near Mannat. A video currently going viral shows a hawker mentioning, “It has made a lot of difference. Now that Shah Rukh does not live here, people have come to know, and the crowd has also reduced.”

An ice cream vendor shared with Instant Bollywood, “Earlier people would come and stay for long. Now, once they find out Shah Rukh isn’t here, autos and taxis simply turn around. If Shah Rukh is there, then it’s ‘Mannat’, otherwise nothing.”

For countless fans, Mannat is not just a celebrity home but a pilgrimage site, attracting visitors from across India and around the world. With Shah Rukh’s absence, the once-bustling area has fallen silent, deeply impacting local businesses.
